My Twitter Experience
My Twitter Experience has been very interesting. Initially, my goal was to establish myself and gain a following and at this point I have begun to that with 35,550 Followers at the time of this post. My Twitter Experience has become interesting because I have attempted to share my business opportunity with my followers without much luck. Why would so many people follow others with not much interest in what they may offer? Due to the growth of Twitter, the last number I have read was twitter is growing over 50 million users in a month with data from August 2009.
It appears that the purpose of some users on twitter is to promote their products, businesses and some people are on twitter for fun, whatever that means. I follow over 40,000 people, I find that people tweet about any and everything, some tweets I find that I shake my head saying what is this person attempting to accomplish? Some people tweet about what they are doing at the moment, eating or possibly going to sleep and/or tweeting about selling products or recruiting for their respective businesses. Personally, I have opened some websites within some of the tweets that I receive and have been impressed with some of the offers that people tweet.
I tweet positive quotes every morning, affirmations and an update on my exercise routine, which occurs 6 days a week. I typically have a handful of retweets on a daily basis, I am surprised at the quantity of responses to my tweets considering how many people follow me on a daily basis. I sometimes wonder, do people know what they are looking for or are people looking for anything may be a question that goes through my head. Needless to say, my twitter experience has been interesting. My twitter experience has been that some people really do practice personal development, they provide positive messages daily, which I personally enjoy. Just as we experience on Facebook and other Social Media sites, you will experience positive and not so positive people on these sites. I target people that are ready for a change, people that are open to traveling down a path that is different that the path they currently are on. Some people are looking for a way to earn money working from home…a way to move yourself forward. I know these people exist, they just have to recognize that it’s going to take stepping outside the comfort zone. To take on a new way of thinking and a new way of responding to the circumstances around you takes a simple choice.
