How I Use Twitter to Expand My Horizons

A few months ago I was in a conversation with someone about Social Media, in this case, Twitter and Facebook. There are enough blogs that discuss both Twitter and Facebook, so I’m not going to waste your time. I have to admit I was somewhat naive, being a entrepreneur and internet marketer. I was accustomed to my comfort zone, which did not include Twitter and Facebook and all the rest of Social Media. Well, as a entrepreneur and internet marketer, I am aware that would have been a mistake to continue those limiting beliefs.

I have been pleasantly surprised at how many people are involved in the personal development market using Twitter and Facebook. I mentioned personal development because that is where I focus my attention and conduct business in the Direct Sales industry utilizing personal development products.

Throughout the day people are tweeting positive messages, possibly quotes or statements from influential people. Twitter and Facebook are free and worth a few minutes a day to send out some valuable information. It’s also beneficial to pay attention to what others are tweeting (twitter) and posting on Facebook. I cannot imagine ignoring a link to a lucrative home business such as the business I have been exposed to. Tweets go by so fast that you could miss something of value.

Pay attention to the Twitter software that is available. Utilize the favorite section to store tweets that you want to save.

I have grown my Followers to over 14000 in 2 months. It’s not celebrity status, I will take it as my growth continues.

Facebook on the other hand is not as forgiving. I was disabled in mid-May to stop me from being aggressive in pursuing people to become friends. I have been reinstated and am less aggressive as I have over 250 Friends as of this writing. I sent Facebook an email, which they did not respond to me for 5-6 weeks. Oh well we move on right?

There are plenty of entrepreneurs on Twitter and Facebook attempting to present themselves in a positive light. Some programs are inexpensive, while others are high-end. You are in the position to do your due diligence before joining a program that you may be introduced to on Twitter and/or Facebook.

Remember, if you are not happy in your current due to lack of finances or time to spend with family. Before you jump at one of those free or inexpensive programs, ask yourself, will you be able to truly change your situation to live the life you want.
